Happy Father's Day

He taught me not just to look, but to truly see, to look beyond the obvious. To stay curious and entrepreneurial, to see life with humor, and to always keep an open mind. To provide for his five children, he became an expert in ancient Asian art, while remaining a painter at heart. He ran a successful gallery in Asian art throughout his life and continued to create and exhibit his own work. Another lesson was that everything has its time. To move with life as it unfolds. At the end of his life, he lived with dementia. And even then, there was always humor.

My father taught me to enjoy life and appreciate the little things. Thanks to him, I learned to work hard for my goals and to treat others with respect.
